Biography

For the last 10 years, I’ve been the face of Safestyle UK and even my original TV ads are still going strong today! You will have heard me shouting about double glazing and energy saving on TV, but I have to admit that the adverts have made me one of the most recognisable faces (and voices) in the country today!

I’m a very enthusiastic kind of guy, which I try to have come across in my advert performances, and I think it does! I love being on the telly, informing people about how they can improve their homes and cut down on their heating bills with Safestyle. It’s true that people who meet me comment that I’m even friendlier and nicer in real life, but there’s only so much you can do when you’ve got a 30-second TV slot to get all the various important messages across!

I’m a huge football fan too, I just love it, and I had the great honour to work with Football League Championship team Burnley Football Club in the coveted role of Matchday Pitch host. I think this is another area where I can excel, because motivating people and creating a great buzz is what I love to do! My strengths are my motivational skills and using these to get a rapport going with the fans at the ground is simply fantastic. Sometimes I even compete with the opposition fans when they have tried to shout me down, but you know what? I’ve still managed to out-do them, even without using a microphone – ha!

There’s lots of other different work I like to do, and this has included things like presenting radio shows, radio ad voiceovers, emceeing at sportsmens’ dinners, concerts like for Tony Christie and other top stars, opening ceremonies for things like new stores and training academies, not to mention all the various public appearances, motivational speeches, business awards events, ceremonies and sales conferences. I’ve even been a rap star!

Some have called me quit-witted and motivational, and I hope that if we ever meet, that you will find me as friendly and warm as I always aim to be!
