Safestyle Window Man’s back on TV!

27th July 2011

Hello again! As you may have seen, I've been on TV lately with the Safestyle BOGOF classics "Pushover" (from 1999) and "Swinging Windows" (2003) being aired again! You know the ones!

Many have asked what I've been up to lately as I was to attend at the celebrity football tournament Soccer Six at Burnley FC for two days from 5th June, but in the end I couldn't do both days – not because I bottled it, no, 'cause I've been training like a true athlete, but because my son Josh, who's an American football player, had a serious injury in training and I had to be there for him, so I couldn't make the second day when I was due to play. It wasn't to be and I'm sorry that many were deprived of seeing the full extent of my superb goalkeeping skills! Haha! Maybe next year, eh?

But all was not lost because on the first day I was the auctioneer at their charity auction! Many celebs were in attendance and we raised over £10,000 for local charities, which is a fantastic achievement for which we are all very happy and proud.

Overall, it was an amazing event with that celeb line-up too, and leading up to it I went all-out in my training to get in shape, even

managing to get chased by a horse during my training excursions! Try telling a horse to “BOGOF” – it really doesn't have the same effect, the equine version of a red rag to a bull I think!

Myself, I've been down South for several weeks, carrying the Safestyle flag all around our southern branches, including Bristol, Brighton, Southampton, Exeter, Reading, Romford, and Maidstone. It's been great but the Window Man's got a bit of a cold and snotty nose at the mo, though don't you worry, I’ll be better soon!

Yours on the mend,
Safestyle Window Man Jeff
