The Safestyle Window Man, one of TV’s most recognisable faces!

Hello, I’ve been continuing my helter-skelter tour of the country, visiting the various Safestyle branches along the way. I met our lads and lasses at Romford, Brighton and Maidstone last Friday, discussed the virtues of uPVC windows, and from there I drove home, which took an incredible 5 hours with all the traffic!
I quickly got changed into a different suit (a compere suit!) and went up to Todmorden Town Hall, where I was MC (ringmaster!) for 15 rounds of amateur boxing staged by Brian Roche. The problem was I had no microphone, but when did that ever stop the Window Man?! Well it didn’t make a difference because I just spoke as I normally do and everyone heard, or course! There were 15 boxers from Roche gym in Burnley and people from Doncaster, Chesterfield, Blackpool and Manchester. And with a large helping of pie and peas, a good night was had by all and it finished about half twelve.
The next day was Saturday and Burnley FC were at home to Birmingham City. I was compering in the European suite and shouting the Clarets on to a 2-1 victory again! This home win for Burnley broke the record for a newly-promoted team in the Premiership, winning four out of four home games.
Then I got my MC suit back on again and went to be a compere at Nelson House in Burnley for Furniture for Education Worldwide Charity Dinner, where all the schools in Burnley that have surplus of classroom furniture send it out to Africa and India. And with raffles, auctions and games we raised over £4,000 - fantastic!
Then I had a phone call from Radio Lancashire’s Tony Livesey to do an interview over the phone for their breakfast show, discussing memorable TV ads. It was amazing to hear that people were texting in saying that my face was the most recognisable in TV commercials!
Yours in memorable
advertising, Jeff
