Window Man attends football Player of the Year Awards

Hello again! If you haven’t already voted for my Safestyle Window Man T-shirts, check out the poll below and simply click to vote! Now, what’s the latest news with me? Well, as you’ll already have gathered from the title, I was invited to attend the Player of the Year Awards at my long-time team, Burnley Football Club. I attended as guest of honour, and there were stars from Emmerdale too, including Richard Moore (who plays Jarvis Skelton).

I was also delighted to be able to present an award to Burnley’s Jey Rodriguez, a young local up and coming centre-forward who scored in our 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest on 14th March 2009. The Burnley players and managers are making us believe again, we’re now in the play-offs with the goal of getting back into the Premiership.

It was a top class night, I must’ve had a couple of bottles of champagne and the food was top notch (I bet you didn’t know I’m a vegetarian). I’ve been a Burnley fan all my life, since I was 6 years old, and I’ve just turned 44. This has been the best season I’ve seen, and I’m hoping for more! Check out the new photos in my gallery page.
