Window Man in the mix with Soccer Six!

Hello again! I’m really looking forward to Burnley FC’s Soccer Six on June 5th which is a celebrity football tournament, the most star-studded sports event in the country! I’ve been training hard as I will be taking part in the role of goalkeeper. As a perspiring athlete, my training regime is quite tough, as you can imagine. Just the other day I was doing my usual intense power-walking, this time up a very steep hill, really giving it some, but suddenly out of nowhere a horse appeared and started chasing me! I told him to "BOGOF" but needless to say, it didn’t end well. Like something out of Benny Hill, it really shook me up. Talk about an offer you can’t refuse - lose weight so you can slip through the fence! Ha! Makes the "BOGOF" offer look light-weight!

There will be quite a few celebs joining the Soccer Six ranks, including well-known Clarets’ fan Alastair Campbell, the Hollyoaks boys, The Wanted, Twenty Twenty, Starboy Nathan, Kid British, Stavros Flatley, and recent X-Factor stars Wagner and Katie Waissel. Also look out for Plan B, Danny Dyer (yep Danny Dyer loves his football), Shayne Ward, The Only Way is Essex and stars of Coronation Street, X Factor, Eastenders, Waterloo Road, Dancing on Ice and I’m a Celebrity – it’s the world’s biggest 6-a-side celebrity footy tournament and you have to admit the celeb line-up is just amazing!

Another fantastic event was Burnley’s Player of the Year Awards 2011 – and for the first time yours truly compered the event. It wasn’t the best of seasons for Burnley FC but we got through it. And I’ll also be the auctioneer at their charity auction!

At Safestyle UK in the double glazing industry we’re looking mighty strong, and I’ve been visiting Exeter, Plymouth, Peterborough & Luton. Our teams up and down the country are buzzed up with some fantastic competitions for the month of June - you should see the prizes!
